One of our longest standing and most popular meal items are our delicious Fishcakes. These are handmade by the team using a selection of fish and veg. They are handfuls of joy and make the perfection addition to any meal. They are also a favourite amongst the kids! All our fishcakes are cooked and only need to be heated up and eaten.
Our Traditional Fishcakes are sold in packs of 6 – either fresh or frozen – for R115. Our Thai Fishcakes are sold in packs of 4, frozen, for R110.

Traditional Fishcakes
Our traditional fish cakes are fully cooked and just need a quick heat up. I love to melt a little butter in a non stick pan and fry them although if you don’t want to use the extra butter you can just warm them in a dry pan. The microwave works well but please don’t over heat otherwise they can become dry. The fishcakes are delish served with chips or mash and a salad. They work well with a little Ocean Jewels tartare sauce or even a tomato smoor (homemade tomato sauce).
Ingredients: Selection of fish, Onions, Fish Spice, Potatoes (about 20%), Parsley and a light dusting of Flour on the outside
Gluten Free Fishcakes
Our Gluten Free Fishcakes are very similar to our Traditional Fishcakes but we’ve made some substitution for them to be free from gluten. We’ve swapped the flour coating for corn flour, and removed the Fish Spice for a mix of dried herbs, salt and pepper.

Thai Fishcakes
Our Thai Fishcakes are super easy and full of flavour. Unlike our Traditional Fishcakes, the fish for our Thai Fishcakes is kept in larger pieces which add an amazing texture to them. As a bonus, they are also gluten free!
